He has authored more than 100 scientific publications, many of them in the area of Engineering Failure Analysis. Court appointed technical consultant for several train accidents in Italy. He has been invited speaker for two editions of special training in Advanced Accident Reconstruction Seminars organized by American National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE) in San Diego (2012) and Minneapolis (2013) to present the Sequence of Event Analysis applied to complex industrial accident.

Attorney for the Association of Families of the Victims of the Viareggio, Italy Train Disaster 29 June 2009, as well as the attorney for those persons claiming damages in the criminal proceedings for the Viareggio accident. Co-author with Fabrizio D'Errico of the presentation of the Multilevel Analysis Sequence Events in Criminal Cases of Industrial Accidents presented at the V International Conference of Engineering Failure Analysis (2012, The Hague, The Netherlands). He was a guest speaker at two editions of the Advanced Accident Reconstruction Seminar organized by the American National Academy of Forensic Engineering (NAFE) held in San Diego, CA in July 2012 and Minneapolis, MN in July 2013.

Degree in Computer Sciences. Produced three-dimensional models in 3D CAD for the industrial sectors of rail, road and architecture. Developed graphic animation applications in 3D Studio Max which enabled the creation of accurate and detailed virtual scenarios for use in the field of industrial forensics.
